Former Juventus and Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has been tipped to replace Julen Lopetegui as the new coach of Real Madrid.
According to reports from Spain, Lopetegui has even said goodbye to the players in case he is sacked. Also, the reports indicate he is expected to be sacked this week.
Conte won the Serie A title with Juventus for three consecutive years before taking over as the coach of the Italy national team and led his country to the quarterfinals of the Euro 2016.
He won the Premier League in his first season as the coach of Chelsea and the FA Cup in his second season.
Madrid lost Zidane and Ronaldo in the summer and their absence seems to have created a big hole in the Madrid team. With no big signing to replace Ronaldo, Madrid has been struggling to find the back of the net since he left.
Lopetegui lost his job as the coach of the Spanish national team and now he might regret making the decision that made him lose his job as the Spanish national team coach a day before the 2018 World Cup kicked off.
