Coronavirus could kill 190,000 in Africa, WHO warns

The World Health Organisation has said the coronavirus can kill between 83, 000 to 190, 000 people in African.

According to the WHO, the outbreak could infect between 29 million to 44 million people in Africa this year.

So far, the continent has recorded 51, 698 cases, and 2,012 deaths while 17,590 people have recovered.

South Africa has the highest number of cases on the continent with 7,808 cases followed by Egypt with 7,588 cases.

Lesotho is the only African country with no coronavirus case.
