Customers line up to withdraw their money from Midland Savings and Loans

Customers of Midland Savings and Loans this morning lined up in front of their head office in Accra to withdraw their money.

This comes after a customer was assaulted at the bank for going to withdraw GHC 250 from her account.
However, the bank this morning did not open when the customers went there.
An official of the bank came out to tell the customers that as a result of the incident, people started hitting their cars in town in objects and they felt it will be nice for them to close for today to restore calm among their customers.

But the ire customers were not willing to go as they kept waiting for their money.
Some customers who talked to the media indicated they have been going to the Midland for days for the money but they keep telling them to come back but after seeing the video they going to withdraw all their money.
