Stephen Ntim is optimistic about winning the NPP chairmanship race today. Stephen Ntim has contested for the chairmanship position four times but has never won, ipso facto, shows ‘how loyal he is to the party’.
‘I have been to all the constituencies and talked to them about my policies and they have promised to vote for me’.
Nonetheless, he is also urging the delegates to vote for him as the party is based on ‘Dankwa-Dombo-Busia tradition’ and not ‘Dankwa-Dombo- Nkrumah tradition’.
If I leave the NPP and join another party, I will never be made National Chairman’, he said.
‘we should never change our culture and bring an alien culture’.
Ntim made those comments as he and some other party members are campaigning against acting Chairman Freddie Blay because he joined the party when he left CPP. And because of that they do not see him to be part of them.
He also indicated he has told the delegates to expect propaganda as some people will spread lies about him.
Stephen Ntim, during the interview on Kessben FM, said he is urging the delegates to vote for him so that when he becomes National Chairman, he will unify the party, and leave a lasting legacy to help the party win the subsequent elections.
