The Deputy Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Dr. John Kumah Esq., has tragically passed away aged 46.
He was expected to be at the Independence Day celebration at Ejisu, however, he was unable to make due to health reasons.
According to the report, he died in an ambulance while being sent to the hospital.
Dr. John Kumah served as the Member of Parliament for the Ejisu constituency in the Ashanti Region. Additionally, he previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), which aimed to provide essential capital and training for startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.
Prior to his untimely passing, Dr. Kumah was known for his multifaceted career as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and politician. He possessed over 15 years of experience in leadership, creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness, particularly in the realm of job creation and youth development. His contributions to various sectors will be remembered and cherished by many.
