It is a fact that most Ghanaian clubs are unable to pay their players well.
Albeit no club has been able to publish the amount of money the players are paid, there are rumours that some players receive as low as ₵500 a month.
In such clubs, one would wonder how much the players receive in terms of winning bonuses.
After Kotoko’s win over Hearts of Oak last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, it was reported that the players were going to receive ₵2000 in addition to their ₵500 away winning bonus. Kotoko is known to be the only club in Ghana that pays the players well.
However, The Post understands Aduana Stars pays more money than Kotoko when it comes to winning bonus.
The Dormaa based club, The Post understands, pays ₵400 as winning bonus for home games and ₵600 as winning bonus for away games and ₵400 for an away draw. The Post also understands the club has been making this payment for the past four years.
Until that of another club is made known, it would be a fact that at the moment, Aduana Stars makes the highest payment for winning bonus in Ghana.
