Don’t appoint P.K Ameyaw as our DCE – Adansi Asokwa youth warns Nana Addo

Some NPP youth at Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region have threatened to go on demonstration should Peter Kwabena Ameyaw be named as DCE for the area.
According to reports from the area, Peter Kwabena Ameyaw made them aware that he is taking some time off politics and will not involve himself in the affairs of the party.

The youth claim Mr. Ameyaw does not want the party to progress.
Before the President, Nana Addo went on his vacation, the youth said Mr. Ameyaw told a friend of his that the President will name him as the next DCE when he returns.
This angered the youth who approached the NPP’s constituency chairman, Kwame Owusu because they believe he is the one behind the alleged soon-to-be appointment.
The irate youth were calmed when NPP’s regional chairman, Wontumi talked to them on the phone.
The youth, however, indicated that Peter Kwabena Ameyaw did not do anything for the area when he was the organizer and also constituency Chairman for the party as well as a former DCE for the area.
With the exception of Peter Kwabena Ameyaw, the youth are willing to see any other person in office.
The youth have threatened to go on strike should the President appoint Peter Kwabena Ameyaw as their DCE.
