The former president, John Dramani Mahama has begged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to take him and his party to court when they win the election in 2020.
Mahama while speaking at Akyem Sweduru in the Eastern Region told his followers that he will become the president again, therefore, the NPP should not take him to court as they did in 2012.
‘We the NDC we don’t like ligations’, he said ‘that is why when we lost the 2016 election we gave it to them’
‘That is why I am begging them not to take us to court when we win the election in 2020’.
He added that they have learnt their lessons from the 2016 election and they have put it behind them.
Also, he said that they are doing their best to make the party attractive to more people so that they can win the election in 2020.
Mahama also told his followers that the NPP is afraid of his return that is why they do not want him to lead the NDC in the next election.
He then emphasized that whether the NPP likes it or not ‘JM is coming’.
