Last week, some girls were on stage for a festival called Krubi held for Muslim young girls who are virgins got injured when the stage collapsed.
The festival is organized on the 27th day of the Ramadan to encourage young girls to have chastity on their mind.
However, it is believed that when girls who are not virgins join the girls who are virgins and mount the stage, the stage will collapse.
During the event last week, while the girls were on stage dancing and singing, the stage collapsed injuring those on the stage.
While others were saying the stage might not have been mounted well, others were also saying some of the girls who mounted the stage were not virgins.
One girl who told us she is a virgin after the incident said she is not deterred by the collapsing of the stage and she will mount the stage again next year.
