Drivers happy with the removal of roundabouts on the Accra-Kumasi road

Drivers who use the Accra-Kumasi road are happy with the removal of the roundabouts at Ejisu, Boadi Junction, Oduom and Tech police station.

The roundabouts were removed on the order of the Minister for Roads and Highways when he toured Ashanti Region last year.

The roundabouts were removed as they posed a threat to drivers.

The removal of the roundabouts is expected to reduce traffic and also curb accidents which sometimes happen on the roads especially trailers.

Work will soon start on the installation of traffic lights in those areas and it is yet to be communicated to the public when work will be completed.
