Drug addicts in Kumasi now inhale perfume and adhesive to get high

Drug addicts in Kumasi have reportedly started inhaling perfumes to get high.

According to reports, when the drug addicts buy the perfume, they pour it into a bottle and shake it. Afterwards, they inhale it until they are satisfied.

According to reports, the drug addicts who are mostly indulge in this new act are between the ages of 15 to 25 and they turned to inhaling perfumes due to the ban on Tramadol by the government.

Also, The Post understands that some people also inhale solution (adhesive) popularly called ‘solesion’ which is used by cobblers or shoemakers to mend or make shoes.

It is also believed that some of the drug addicts even drink the perfumes.

This new behaviour is popular among drug addicts living at Subin, Asafo and Thinker.

According to the drug addicts, when they inhale the perfume or the solution, their body becomes hard to the extent that even if you hit them with an object they will not feel it.
