Non-Governmental Organisations, Earth Care Ghana and SNV Green teamed up to clean Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.
For over a month, Earth Care Ghana led by Kwame Appiah Kubi have been picking plastic wastes littered in Ejisu. After their work caught the attention of SMV Green, the two NGOs teamed up to clean the city.
They picked plastics from the Ejisu Police Station, through the Ejisu township and ended at the Church of Pentecost on the Ejisu-Akyawkrom road.




Kubi, in an interview with The Post said the aim of Earth Care Ghana is to get rid of plastic waste in Ghana. He added that the group would not only pick the plastic wastes but would also educate the people on the need to stop littering.
