The road which was constructed by the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, who is also the MP for the Ejisu Municipality took less than a month to develop potholes in December 2016.
The residents and drivers who use the road are not only angry about how long it took for the road to develop potholes but also the over two years it took for the MP to fix the less than 4 km road.
According to the drivers, after various attempt to get the authorities to fix the road proved futile, a resident in the area, Kwaku Ntim Twumasi popularly called NTK, used his trucks to gather sand for them to use to fill the potholes.
Ejisuman Senior High School, Model School, Deeper Life International School and Spiritan University College students use the road on daily basis and the road posed a threat for the students as drivers were always dodging the numerous potholes on the road.
The popularity of the MP is getting lower and lower in the area as people who ply the Ejisu-Onwe road are also angry with him for not being able to fix the road since it collapsed a month ago.
