Electrician electrocuted while fixing street lights

A man believed to be in his early thirties has been electrocuted while fixing street lights at Derma in the Brong Ahafo Region.

According to the residents, the deceased who hails from Sunyani was contracted by the MP for the area, Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere to work on the streetlights.

When the incident happened, he was rushed to a hospital in the area where he was pronounced dead.

His body was immediately transported to Sunyani so that his family can be contacted.
