While some players in Ghana are negotiating with their club’s management for a pay cut, Elmina Sharks did not have that opportunity.
According to reports, the players’ had a pay cut of 65% for the month of April, however, the management of the club has denied what the players are saying and said they reduced it by 50%.

After the management denied the report, the players, without disclosing their identity said their salary was reduced by 65% and not 50%.

The club has joined Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold who has reduced the salary of their players.
