The National Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Sammy Awuku has urged unemployed nurses to enroll in the Nations Builders Corp.
Since the launch of the program, unemployed nurses have expressed their displeasure with the program stating it will not favour them.
The NPP Youth Organiser said in an interview on Kessben FM that he will meet with the leadership of the group and talk to them because he does not know if they do not understand the program or not.
He urged them to enroll in the program since they will help them earn an income at the end of the month instead of staying home.
He praised the government for initiating the program and described it as ‘the single biggest initiative aimed at solving youth unemployment.’
He also described attempts by the NDC to criticize the program ‘as politics of lies and deceit.’
Furthermore, he stated the government is ‘bridging the gap between the rich and the poor’ through programs and initiative it is putting in place.
Sammy Awuku was in Kumasi to campaign for support as he is aspiring for the National Organizer position.
