Alhaji Yahaya Jibril, a former Team Manager for Kumasi Asante Kotoko has expressed his worry with Kotoko’s 2-0 victory against Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
Alhaji Jibril in an interview after Kotoko’s victory over Etoile said the 2-0 win is not enough.
“The Sousse park is bigger than the one here [Baba Yara Sports Stadium],” and their weather is different so it will be difficult of Kotoko to play there.
“The 2-0 is not sufficient, we should have scored 3 or 4.”
“Look at the chance Abege missed, Yacouba could have scored if he had been given a pass.”
Although he said the Etoile du Sahel “is not an extraordinary team” he also said that “they did not play their real football” in Kumasi.
According to him, Etoile played a “planned” game so they will unleash their full power when they play Kotoko in Tunisia.
