Etoile du Sahel’s players and officials attacked the referee after losing 2-0 to Kotoko

Some players and officials of Etoile Sportive du Sahel attacked the referee, Hasten Corner after losing 2-0 to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

After the final whistle, some players of Etoile du Sahel and the officials rushed onto the pitch and were stopped by the police.

In the process, Lahmar Hamza was shown the yellow card by the referee.
It is not clear why the players and officials attacked the referee and the things they said to him.

The Liberian referee, along with his assistants Sekon S.Kanneh Jnr, Joel Wonka Doe and Jerry Yekeh were escorted off the pitch by the police.
