The CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Amoako after Kotoko’s 2-0 win over Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Kumasi said the Tunisian side did not allow them to play their game in Kumasi.
Kotoko scored their first goal in the early minutes of the game through Augustine Okrah’s freekick and Richard Arthur doubled the lead in the second half.
Amoako in an interview after the match in Kumasi said: “We thank God for letting us get the 2 goals.”
He added that the Tunisian giants came with a plan and their plan was to “disorganize and disorient” the Kotoko team.
“They did not allow us to play football and they did not also play football.”
Amoako is optimistic that Kotoko will play their real football in Tunisia as Etoile will “also play football” since they need to win the game.
