Asante Kotoko attacker, Franck Mbella Etouga’s lone goal against WAFA has given the club the three points they need to get closer to lifting the Premier League.
The win is also Kotoko’s first win at WAFA’s home.
The Cameroonian has now scored 18 goals this season in the Ghana Premier League and is currently leading the goal-king race in his first season.
The goal which he scored in the 64th minute has now made him the highest scorer in the Ghanaian Premier League for Asante Kotoko breaking Eric Bekoe’s 17 goals in the 2007/2008 season. Bekoe won the goal-king and best player that season.
