Last year, the names of the villages Etwe Nim Nyansa, Twe ewinso, Hua Ye Mobo and Kote Ye Aboa spread throughout Ghana and across the world like wildfire due to the weird meaning of the name.

However, these towns in the Abirim Constituency are now thanking their stars as they have finally seen electricity in their communities for the first time.

After the names of these villages were mentioned in Ghana’s Parliament for the lack of development in those areas, it was later revealed that the meaning of their names is making it difficult for the leaders in the area to push for developmental projects as they are shy of the name.
