Asante Kotoko target and formal Hearts of Oak defender, Mohammed Alhassan, according to a report by Adehyee FM in Kumasi, is interested in continuing his career outside Ghana than signing for Asante Kotoko.
According to the report, an Israeli club has offered the 30-year-old more than 6000 euros a month deal and the player is interested in signing for the European club.
However, details of the contract offered to the former WAFA player were not given by the station.
The former Hearts of Oak star has been linked with a move to his former club’s arch-rivals since his contract was released by the club.
Some Kotoko fans have been calling on their club to sign Alhassan due to his experience in the league while some have been saying the club should not sign him.
There have been reports that Kotoko’s management has contacted him.
