Evangelist arrested for accusing a rich man of making money spiritually

Evangelist Bempah, a preacher at Konongo in the Ashanti Region has been arrested for accusing a rich man of making money spiritually while preaching.

The evangelist is known for insulting chiefs and politicians whenever he is preaching the word of God.

On the day of his arrest, Evangelist Bempah accused a man called Muntalla who of making money through spiritual means. Muntalla’s mother who was close to where the man of God was preaching approached him and asked him to explain how he got to know her son is making his money.

Bempah insulted the woman and she went home to tell his son what has happened.

While preaching, Bempah took to his heels when he saw Muntalla’s mother heading towards his direction with the police.

Two people who were with Evangelist Bempah were arrested while Bempah was arrested after the police chased him.

He is currently in police custody assisting the police in their investigations.
