In Ghana, it is believed that some footballers steal items such as boots, socks, shirts and other personal belongings of their fellow teammates and give those items to spiritualists to use it to end their career or give them a long-term injury to enable them to get more playing time.
One player, according to reports gathered cannot find one of his hose after washing it and is believed to be finding it difficult to concentrate.
The rise in the stealing of personal belongings is as a result of how competitive the team has become and how competitive it is going to be for players to get more playing time.
