The football governing body, FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Emmanuel Clottey and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
According to reports in the media, Kotoko was accused of wrongfully signing Clottey who at that time had a contract with the Tunisian club, Esperance.

According to the report, Clottey is supposed to pay Esperance $180, 000 but should he fail to do so, Kotoko would have to pay the money.
The two parties are expected to file their defense.
