Flashback: Highlights – Ike Quartey vs Oscar dela Hoya

On February 13 1999, Ike ‘Bazooka’ Quartey returned to the ring to face Oscar ‘Golden Boy’ De La Hoya at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada after a 14-month hiatus.

Quartey was floored in the 6th and 12th round of the bout while De La Hoya was also floored in the 6th round. De La Hoya won the fight on a split controversial decision.
