The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has disclosed his readiness to manage a Ghanaian football club
According to him, football is politics and must be managed by business moguls.
Speaking on Wontumi Nationwide Sports hosted by King Eben on Wontumi Radio and TV, he indicated that football clubs need in the country needs someone who is committed and can dedicate their time and invest into the clubs.
Some persons own a team but does not have super natural knowledge to manage the team so the teams are descending.” He said
According to Chairman Wontumi, he is managing NPP like his life, “I am dedicated to NPP so I want the club owners to manage their clubs like that.”
Chairman Wontumi disclosed that, he nearly bought then Kessben FC now called Medeama FC but because NPP was at Opposition and he was the Regional Chairman, he chose NPP over the club.
