Former Minister and MP, E.T Mensah dies at 77

Enoch Teye Mensah, popularly known as E.T Mensah has died at the age of 77.

He died on Sunday, October 1 in South Africa.

E.T was a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and was the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram from 1997 to 2017.

An Accountant by profession, E.T was also the Minister for Youth and Sports (1997-2001), Minister for Employment and Social Welfare (2010-2012), and the Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing (2012-2017).

In 2021, he was voted as a Council of State Member for Greater Accra Region.

He had seven children.
