From the ‘Hand of God’ to the ‘Devil’s finger’

Football legend, Diego Armando Maradonna has had his FIFA World Cup ambassadorial position taken away from him after showing the middle finger to Nigerian fans and players.

Maradonna was seen using the middle finger when Rojo scored the winner in Argentina’s 2-1 win over Nigerian in the last round of group matches at the World Cup.

As a FIFA ambassador for the World Cup, it was reported he was earning about $10, 000 a day.
Maradonna in 1986 scored the infamous hand of God goal in Mexico against England to lift the World Cup trophy for his country.

However, Argentina today lost their round of 16 matches to France in a 7 goal thriller. They lost by 4 goals to 3.
