The organisers of the Ghana Music Awards made an exciting announcement over the weekend, unveiling the nominees for the highly anticipated silver jubilee edition of the awards ceremony.
During the nominee announcement, it was revealed that Telecel has been named as the new headline sponsor for the prestigious event.
The upcoming 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) will celebrate the outstanding achievements of artists across the country during the past year.
In terms of nominations, Stonebwoy leads the pack with an impressive 15 nods, closely followed by Kuami Eugene with 14 nominations. Sarkodie secures the third position with eight nominations to his name.
Meanwhile, reigning Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif, who clinched the title in 2023, has been nominated six times this year. He remains a contender for the coveted Artiste of the Year award once again.
Other notable nominees for the Artiste of the Year category include King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy, showcasing the diverse talent within the Ghanaian music industry.
