Nana Osei Bonsu, the Chairman of Ghana National Association of Garages has spoken against the action of GUTA members over their attacks on Nigerians at Suame Magazine.
Some GUTA members have been fighting with Nigerian spare parts retailers, asking them to close their shops after the government released a statement asking them to do so.
But a few days after the government released the statement, the government later retracted the statement, however, some GUTA members have taken the law into their own hands and have been attacking the Nigerian retailers at Suame Magazine.

Nana Osei Bonsu, in a press conference, criticized the action of the GUTA members and stated that the spare parts dealers brought the Nigerians to Ghana to open the shops there.
“The mechanics didn’t bring the Nigerians, it is the spare parts dealers who brought them”.
Nana Osei Bonsu further criticized their attacks on not only the Nigerians but also on the Ghanaian mechanics at Suame Magazine.
He also emphasized that the spare parts dealers do not have the right to tell the Nigerians to leave as the land is registered in the name of Ghana National Association of Garages and not that of spare parts dealers.
