Gas sellers have called off their strike. The strike which started this week has been called off after a meeting between the NPA and the leadership of the Ghana Liquefied Gas Operators Association.
However, the end of the strike according to the gas sellers does not mean they have reached an agreement with the government officials.
Members of the Ghana Liquefied Gas Operators Association are still against the new Cylinder Recycling Module which is set to start soon but the government, on the other hand, is vehemently saying it will go ahead with the new policy.
The gas sellers believe the new policy will affect their business as foreigners will take over, an argument, the NPA has strongly said it will never happened.
The public as well as the Ghana Liquefied Gas Operators Association are yet to be fully educated on the new policy which might start later this year or early next year.
