Gays at Atiwa, a town at Bosome Freho District in the Ashanti Region have reportedly been organising “friendly matches” with gays from other parts of the country.
According to the report, the gays sometimes invite their counterparts from Kumasi and after the “match” they go to Kumasi for the “return match.”
According to reports gathered, an MC popularly called Saman Pa brought it to light while emceeing a funeral in the area and advise the young men involved in the act to stop or else he will make it a national issue.
However, The Post understands the friendly gay matches is not all a secret in the town as the majority of the people are aware of it but they are afraid to talk about it.
According to the report, Saman Pa after making the announcement and advising the young men to desist from the act was attacked by two gays identified as Ebenezer and Robert when he finished the program.
Saman Pa, at first was afraid to react as he does not live in that town, however, he later attacked them until some residents in the town came to separate them.
Saman Pa reportedly went to Ebenezer’s house to inform his mother but she insulted him.
The Post understands Saman Pa indicated he will report the issue to the chief of the town who at that moment was not around.
