Gazale to be Kotoko’s coach against Al Hilal

Asante Kotoko assistant coach, Abdulai Gazale will sit on the bench as the club’s coach in their CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal at the Accra Sports Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Johnson Smith, who is currently the interim coach cannot sit on the bench because he does not have a CAF license A certificate, therefore, Gazale’s name will appear on Kotoko’s team sheet as the head coach.

Kotoko appointed Smith as the interim manager after sacking Maxwell Konadu.

Gazelle who was Konadu’s assistant coach was bypassed for the interim coach position as the club believes Smith has the experience to handle the team.
