Asante Kotoko has reportedly been in contact with George Afriyie for some time now.
According to the report, the Porcupine Warriors’ board want Afriyie to become the new CEO of the club after the management got dissolved.
Afriyie has been tipped to replace George Amoako albeit Nana Yaw Amponsah has also been reportedly contacted by Kotoko.

Afriyie who served as the Ghana Football Association vice-president under Kwasi Nyantakyi has also had leadership positions in some Ghanaian clubs including Liberty Professionals and Great Olympics.

He has also served on various management committees of the national teams.
