The Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has placed a three-month ban on Elmina Sharks President Papa Kwesi Nduom for misconduct.
This follows the violent attacks on match officials during the match involving Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks in the Division One League on February 16, 2025.
The football governing body charged Nduom for inciting attacks on the referees.
He was found guilty for interfering with the match by entering the inner perimeter and field of play without authorization to protest a penalty decision.
In addition to the ban, the Elmina Sharks bankroller has also been fined GHS10,000 and warned “any further misconduct will attract severe sanctions”.

The move by the FA is to curb the growing incidents of hooliganism in the sport.
Meanwhile, Nduom had accused the hierarchy of the GFA of conflict of interest and is considering “quitting” the running of Elmina Sharks.
