Ghana to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines – Nana Addo

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that Ghana would soon start manufacturing COVID-19 vaccines.

In his 24^th address to the nation, the president stated that former Health and Science Minister, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has been tasked to set up a team to oversee the manufacturing of the vaccines.

At the moment, the indicated that the country will rely on the Covax vaccine from the World Health Organisation.
