In October 2023, the U.S. Men’s National Team has scheduled high-profile friendly matches against Germany and Ghana as part of their preparations for the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals in the following month. The first match will see the USA face Germany on October 14 in Hartford, Conn. Three days later, on October 17, they will go head-to-head with the Black Stars of Ghana at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tenn. He emphasized the importance of such matches in preparing for future assignments, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The game against the United States presents a significant platform for the Black Stars to assess their abilities against top-quality opposition.
