Ghanaians living in Kano, Nigeria have told the management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko that they will not be able to be in the stadium to support the club.
Sarfo Duku, Head of Administration and Legal Affairs of Kotoko in an interview on Kessben FM said the Ghanaian High Commission gathered the Ghanaian community for them to meet.
And it was during the meeting that the management was told by the Ghanaians that they will not be able to support the club at the stadium as they are scared that they might be attacked after the game.
The two times winners of the Champions League, Kotoko will face Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Duku added that although trained on an artificial pitch at Accra Academy before living Ghana, the one they will be playing on against Kano Pillars is old and rough, however, the players have assured them that they can play on the pitch.
