The coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kim Grant has been tipped by some Ghanaians to coach the Ghana national team, the Black Stars.
Ghanaians fell in love with Grant’s style of play more when Hearts played Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the semi-final of the Normalization Committee Special Cup in Accra.
Kotoko took the lead in the first half through Fatawu Safiu and Hearts equalized in the second half from the penalty kick through Christopher Bonney.
And it was during the second of the game that those tipping Grant to coach the national team fell in love with is football.
Hearts kept possession and outplayed Kotoko in the second half of the game.
His blueprint can be seen in the way Hearts possessed the game.
Grant became the manager of Hearts late last year and he was tasked to build a team and beat their arch-rivals, Kotoko in every match they will play.
Unfortunately for him, he has lost in his first match against Kotoko as Hearts went on to lose 5-4 on a penalty shootout.
But after the game, some Ghanaians took to social media to praise Grant, tipped him to become the coach of the Black Stars in the future and urged the management of Hearts of Oak to maintain him.
