Ghanaian wrestler, Kofi Kingston has become the new WWE Champion after beating Daniel Bryan last night.
His win makes him the first African, first Ghanaian and the second black man to win the title.
Kofi had the support of the raucous crowd throughout the back-and-forth fight and they showed it when he was put in the LeBell Lock.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you all.
Without your love & support, especially over the past couple months, none of this happens. You helped me achieve my childhood dream & I’m eternally grateful for each & every one of you.
Sincerely,
Your WWE World Heavyweight Champion
-Kofi
