Ghana and Asante Kotoko legend, Abdul Karim ‘Golden Boy’ Razak, according to reports, is among those who are being considered to become the next Asante Kotoko Technical Director.
The 1978 African Footballer of the Year winner, according to the report, is being considered alongside other high profile people to lead the club’s Interim Management Committee as the current leader, Kwasi Appiah, is set to sign a contract with Sudan to become their new head coach.
Though the club has reported that Appiah would keep his job at Kotoko and work as the coach of the Sudanese national team, there are reports that it is unlikely that he would be able to do it full-time.
Golden Boy played for Kotoko where he won the Ghanaian Premier League and the CAF Champions League.
He has coached Kotoko twice, first in 1999 and in 2003/2004 when he won the league.
