The Government of Ghana and Universal Merchant Bank have partnered with a resident of Pru in the Brong Ahafo Region to build a starch factory.
Speaking to journalists at the event, Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng, the Minister for Trade and Industry said the government is willing to support anyone who is willing to start a factory or a business anywhere in Ghana.
“We will provide support to anyone who is willing to open a business in any district”.
According to him, not only will this help the economy grow but it will create jobs and help end rural-urban migration in the country.
