Government to name DCEs for newly created districts soon – Collins Ntim

The deputy minister for Local Government, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim has indicated that government will soon name DCEs to head the newly created districts.

Hon. Ntim stated that the candidates have already been interviewed and the report has been submitted to the office of the president.

In an interview with Fox FM in Kumasi the deputy minister indicated that he believes the President will next week meet with the committee who have interviewed the candidates to determine who will be the DCE for the new districts.

He further indicated that the government want to make sure they appoint some who will be able to work well with the leaders and the people in the community.
