Ebusua Dwarfs has shocked league leaders Aduana Stars at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Dwarfs who were lying at the bottom of the table with 3 points beat Aduana who were leading the table with 16 points before the game started.
Goals from Seidu Abubakar and Michael Asamoah gave the home side a two-goal lead in the first half. The league’s leading goal scorer, Yahaya Mohammed scored his first away goal from the spot-kick to make it 2-1 after which a long-range strike from Isaac Donkor in the 97th minute gave Dwarfs a comfortable 3-1 home win and their second win of the season.
Kotoko had their second successive draw today after playing a goalless draw with WAFA at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
Kotoko has now overtaken Ashanti Gold and moved to the 4th position with 14 points, 3 points behind leaders Berekum Chelsea who beat Kerela United 1-0.
