Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team yesterday welcomed the new Arsenal manager, Unai Emery to the Premier League by beating him 2-0 at the Emirate Stadium.
Arsenal, after saying goodbye to longtime manager Arsene Wenger, the manager was not going to find his first Premier League match easily especially when his side is playing against the reigning champions.
With goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva, the away side was way ahead of the home team.
Sterling scored his 50th goal in the Premier League in the 14th minute and was also his third from outside the box.
City’s all-time leading scorer, Sergio Kun Aguero could have added his name to the list but Petr Cech saved his side. Aguero was one-on-one with Cech after a poor defence from Arsenal defenders. The Argentine striker chose to try his luck when he could have passed it to unmarked DeBruyne who had come on for new boy Riyadh Mahrez.

A few minutes after Aguero missed his chance, Bernardo Silva made it two in the 64th minute after he got a clever pass from Benjamin Mendy.
Benardo Silva found the top left corner of the pole and there was no way Cech could have saved that ball.
Aubameyang found the net for the Gunners but he had already been flagged offside by the linesman.
Arsenal could not penetrate the City defence even with the introduction of Lacazette upfront.
