Members of Ghana Union of Traders Association, GUTA, at Suame Magazine has asked Nigerian retailers to leave.
The traders believe the Nigerians are not doing the work the laws of Ghana permits foreigners to do as retailing is for only indigenes.
Speaking to the media, an executive member of GUTA, Sheila Owusu said they are not happy with what is going on.
‘We have told them we cannot work with them again.’
‘Everyone knows retailing is for us [Ghanaians] and we have told them what to do’, she said.
‘If they do what we tell them we will not have a problem with them’, she added.
