Had I known they say…

Got you there! Don’t tell me you didn’t apprehensively add “always at last”. Is that always the case? Another school of thought believes that had I known they say is perhaps a fool’s talk. Ruminating on these schools of thought bring forth which sea we should sail on.

Many are the countless times we sit down to reminisce what may or may not have come to our ways if certain things were done. Many are the times we whine and cuss because of predicaments. Funny enough we happen to know the path we are travelling on until distractions set in. Some mistakes are knee-jerk, so terrible I must confess, so the question of what causes the avoidable ones keeps lingering on the corners of our lips.

Did you realise that the first letters of the bulleted phrases link to FEAR? This four lettered word is deadlier than Cleopatra’s cougar. Many dreams have been shattered and visions dimmed because of the FEAR of not trying. Some of the things that people tell us normally put us off and cripple us with fear. Human beings are naturally an excited breed of creatures. Our narrations are often sugar-coated than normal and necessary.

Nothing is new under the sun, not even a damsel with an awkwardly appalling visage, not at all so we definitely have people who have passed through our hustles; some made it and others were complete fiascos. Those who tend to fail are the ones who give false evidence, exaggerations and experiences that alter reality. The feeble enemies, on the other hand, are the witches and wizards we perceive they pull us down. You know how Africans can’t rid themselves off of the Special African Gravity.

As humans as we are we will trip off and fall on our faces and say the had I known “mantra” which is not always at last. A cat they say has nine lives. Regardless the first opportunity we miss, we can create new opportunities and a future ourselves. All we need to do is to sit down and strategize and get out of the cave of fears and illusions.
The future is bright and we will get there. On this note, I would conclude that had I known is not always at last but it is indeed the talk of fools, cuckoos, yo-yos and simpletons.
