Tottenham striker, Harry Kane has finally broken his “August curse” by scoring in their game against Hull City at Wembley today.
Kane scored in the 77 minute after Lucas Moura and Kevin Trippier had put Tottenham in the lead.Lucas opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a left-foot shot to put his side ahead after a poor play by Calum Chambers.
In the 52nd minute, Aleksander Mitrovic headed the ball into the net from Ryan Sessegnon cross.
The home side kept control of the ball in the second half as they tried to get all three points.
Tottenham had to wait until the 74 minute to get the lead again as Kieran Trippier scored from a free kicking with a spectacular curled ball into the net.
Three minutes later, Harry Kane scored a goal in August for the first time in his career. Kane made it three after dribbling past his opponents to put his side two goals up.
After the game, the World Cup golden boot winner took to Twitter to celebrate his first August goal.

Tottenham is now second on the league table with 6 points from 2 games and behind fellow London club Chelsea on goal difference.
