Slavkco Matic, the coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has been sacked from the club’s training grounds at Pobiman this morning.
Atalawu, a supporter of the club, told Oyerepa FM’s Sometymer that when the coach arrived at the training ground this morning “they told him he is tired so he should go home.”
He accused the coach of being racist and also wasting the club’s money.
Sadat, Atalawu’s friend who also spoke to Sometymer said if they had not protected Matic until he got into this car and drove away, something bad would have happened to him.
According to Atalawu, Assistant coach David Ocloo and Don Bortey are training with the players.
Earlier today, Hearts of Oak released a statement to tell their fans to remain calm and desist from any violence as they had taken notice of comments in the media inciting fans to sack Matic from the training ground.
The Phobians are currently occupying the sixth position on the league table with 28 points. Matic was appointed to head the club’s technical team after the sacking of Samuel Boadu early in the season.
Hearts of Oak fans have been complaining about Matic’s tactics and his behaviour. The Serbian, after taking over told the club to sack their captain and deputy captain, Fatawu Mohammed and Mohammed Alhassan respectively.
Hearts play their arch-rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
